Our company was established in 1985 by two friends Ken Whitby and Charlie Blain in Kingsley, Cheshire.
Over the following years the company gained an enviable reputation of producing high quality bespoke joinery services with a friendly professional approach to our work.
In 1994 Vince Haines bought into the company and enhanced the services that we were able to provide, also at this time the name was shortened to Hurst Joinery Ltd and we relocated to larger premises in Frodsham.
In 2005, Graham Hitchen and Antony Fenner who, with a combined thirty years of experience working for the company, bought the business and moved it to its current purpose built, modern workshop.
Our StaffAt Hurst Joinery our staff are our business and therefore we believe in employing fully qualified tradesmen. Our senior staff have considerable experience of both bench and on-site joinery and are fully qualified in all aspects of our work.
Our apprentices are required to undertake college training and take appropriate City and Guilds qualifications. Their skills are then enhanced by supervised hands-on training by our senior staff. This gives us some of the most highly skilled tradesmen in Cheshire which will help to safeguard our company into the future.
We also keep close ties with local schools and have offered many apprenticeships to school leavers in addition to work experience opportunities for pupils whilst at school.
The close working relationship we have with all our staff ensures that we continue to provide excellent quality service to all our customers.
