We are a bespoke joinery business and make products to individual designs. Due to the bespoke nature of our business we have undertaken a large variety of projects, but we also offer specialist machining and glass replacement services.
All of our products can be on a manufacture only or a manufacture and install basis.
Our Guarantee
All of our products are manufactured to the highest possible standards using top quality raw materials. They are manufactured using traditional methods but incorporating modern technology giving a finished product that will last for years to come. We ensure that all the work we produce adheres to the latest building regulations and all of our window products meet the necessary Fensa standards.
Our three directors have over 75 years experience of working with timber. It is this experience and our commitment to excellence in all that we do that has given Hurst Joinery our enviable reputation. We have included here a wide range of pictures showcasing the variety of work we do. Including, windows, stairs, doors, conservatories, gates, furniture, specialist machining and solid flooring. We also supply and fit UPVC guttering, cladding, windows, doors and replacement glass.
Our guarantees are:
- 5 years on softwood items.
- 10 years on hardwood items.
- 10 years on UPVC products.
- 5 years on window furniture products against defective workmanship.
- On all other products supplied by us we give the manufacturers guarantee, minimum 12 months.
Doors
All our doors are manufactured in our workshop and are all made to measure to our customer requirements. These include internal, external, wardrobe, cupboard and bi-fold external doors. We use solid timbers from softwood, oak and mahoganies. Combining traditional methods with modern machinery.
All our work can be supplied in its natural state or with finishes such as painted, stained, varnished, oiled or waxed. All of the locks that we use are insurance approved, whether its five lever sash/dead locks, night latches or our multi-point locking system.
We also offer a large range of handles, escutcheons, letter plates etc. from leading manufacturers. Specialist glass can also be supplied and fitted if required, for feature doors, or to match an existing door in design.
Windows
All our windows are manufactured in our workshop and are all made to measure. These include Traditional, Sliding Sash, storm proof, Yorkshire lights, circular, bay and bow windows. We use solid timbers from softwood, oak and mahoganies. Combining traditional methods with modern machinery.
All our work can be supplied in its natural state or with finishes such as painted, stained, varnished, oiled or waxed. Specialist glazing can be provided if required. All windows come with either stays or catches with a choice of hinges, handles and locking systems.
All our windows are manufactured to Fensa standards and come with Fensa registration when installed by us. An additional guarantee is also available.
Conservatories
All our conservatories are designed, manufactured and installed by us and we can carry out all ground work, building work and any electrical or plumbing work required. We offer a range of either glass roofs, including 'Enviro glass' or one of the many types of polycarbonate roofing systems using the exitex roofing systems.
Stairs
All stairs are designed, manufactured and installed by us and comply with current building regulations and specifications.
We are capable of manufacturing many types of stairs, from straight flights, single and double winders to half and quarter landings and paddle stairs. We are able to supply and manufacture all types of balustrades, newel posts, handrails and baserails.
