Welcome to our company and thank you for visiting our site.

Our business was established in 1985, originally in the small village of Kingsley, Cheshire under the name of Hurst Farm Joinery. The business relocated to the nearby town of Frodsham in 1994 and shortened its name to Hurst Joinery Ltd.

In 2005 we moved to a larger purpose built workshop in the Frodsham Business Center due to our continuing success. Over the past 24 years the business has become a reliable and well respected company and we pride ourselves in our friendly and professional approach to our work.

Our three directors have over 75 years experience of working with timber. It is this experience and our commitment to excellence in all that we do that has given Hurst Joinery our enviable reputation. We have included here a wide range of pictures showcasing the variety of work we do. Including, windows, stairs, doors, conservatories, gates, furniture, specialist machining and solid flooring. We also supply and fit UPVC guttering, cladding, windows, doors and replacement glass.

Our History

Our company was established in 1985 by two friends Ken Whitby and Charlie Blain in Kingsley, Cheshire. Over the following years the company gained an enviable reputation of producing high quality bespoke joinery services with a friendly professional approach to our work.

In 1994 Vince Haines bought into the company and enhanced the services that we were able to provide, also at this time the name was shortened to Hurst Joinery Ltd and we relocated to larger premises in Frodsham. In 2005, Graham Hitchen and Antony Fenner who, with a combined thirty years of experience working for the company, bought the business and moved it to its current purpose built, modern workshop.

Our Staff

At Hurst Joinery our staff are our business and therefore we believe in employing fully qualified tradesmen. Our senior staff have considerable experience of both bench and on-site joinery and are fully qualified in all aspects of our work. Our apprentices are required to undertake college training and take appropriate City and Guilds qualifications. Their skills are then enhanced by supervised hands-on training by our senior staff. This gives us some of the most highly skilled tradesmen in Cheshire which will help to safeguard our company into the future.

We also keep close ties with local schools and have offered many apprenticeships to school leavers in addition to work experience opportunities for pupils whilst at school. The close working relationship we have with all our staff ensures that we continue to provide excellent quality service to all our customers.
